Jon Poole: What is the Oasis ROSE Garden? 🌹
Luca Cosentino: We’ve partnered with CoinList to offer the community a chance to earn ROSE ahead of Mainnet, while also making the network safer. The Oasis ROSE Garden is a mechanism where you can earn ROSE rewards through two programs called ROSE Farm and Rose Cultivate.

Jon Poole: Okay, next question. Why did you decide to launch the Oasis ROSE garden? What was the motivation?
Luca Cosentino: We wanted to give the community an opportunity to earn ROSE ahead of Mainnet. We felt that a program like the Oasis ROSE Garden was the best way to do it, because it gave the community the chance to contribute to the safety of the Network.
The Oasis ROSE Garden is really unique. No one else is doing anything like this, and it is just another example of the kind of innovation that we’re trying to bring to the community and blockchain more broadly.
Jon Poole: Okay great, what is ROSE Farm and ROSE Cultivate? How do they work?
Luca Cosentino: Sure, I’ll describe them both at a high-level.
In ROSE Farm, you receive ROSE in exchange for temporarily adding USDC or USDT to a pool on CoinList
Once you’ve earned ROSE, you can then participate in ROSE cultivate, where you receive more ROSE in exchange for staking your farmed ROSE.
Jon Poole: 📣 Okay, next question. Let’s dive in on ROSE Farm, can you share more details there? Who can participate and what do the rewards look like? 📣
Ambassador: ROSE Farm is the first phase of the ROSE Garden. During this phase participants contribute up to $2000 USDC or USDT to a collective pool. After a month the USDC or USDT is returned to the participants along with a reward in the form of ROSE tokens. The ROSE Farm phase has a total reward supply of 10M ROSE tokens. Each participant receives a percentage of this supply based on the amount of USDC or USDT they contributed, and the total size of the pool.
If participants join in the first week, they also get an additional 15% bonus ROSE on top of the amount they earned from the shared pool.

Telegram User: Any multiplier mechanism in place for those who stake continuously without pulling liquidity?
Luca Cosentino: yes, staking rewards can be restaked
Telegram User: Can you explain how the farming staking is contributing to the security of the Oasis project ?
Luca Cosentino: Sure. Proof of stake networks improve their security by having more tokens staked. But in order to get these tokens, you will have to ‘farm’ these tokens. That’s why we divided this activity in two steps.
Jon Poole: What about ROSE Cultivate? When does that begin and how does it work?📣
Ambassador: ROSE Cultivate begins after ROSE Farm is complete. Folks who earned ROSE by farming can stake them during this phase, earning rewards based for helping secure the network.
This phase has a total reward pool of 20M ROSE tokens. Participants receive a percentage of this reward pool based on the amount of ROSE they stake and the total amount of ROSE staked by all participants.
You’ll also earn regular staking fees during this phase.
After 5 months, the ROSE Cultivate is complete, and all ROSE tokens are returned to your wallets.

Jon Poole: It’s very much like the typical yield farming! Where they incentivize staking tokens to earn a specific number of newly minted tokens. Your ROI fluctuates based on the number of people participating!
Jon Poole: How many ROSE can I receive? Is there a max?
Ambassador: ROSE rewards are split proportionally based on each participant’s contribution to either or both ROSE Farm and ROSE Cultivate pools. You can also receive rewards for joining early and staking rewards from Oasis. A single participant can’t receive more than 1M ROSE excluding staking rewards.
